Strange Fruit

The real reason I didn't get rid of it was because the stem was still strong as hell, no signs of softening up and dying, she wanted to live like Frankenstein in Van Helsing!!!

I'm so proud of myself for not pulling her at the start!!! Something told me that she was going to come through and boy did she ever!!!

Love those fans , Vortex I think. I've removed all covers off the front of my fans , to lower pressure drop and attached electrostatic screens ( filter) on rear inlet cover.......cheaper to run , fan longevity and much less shit flying around landing on plants.
I should say , it's cheaper to run with screen filter if front cover removed. The screen of course will make fan work harder.

I'll do that!!! Those fans are embarrassing...

After a little leaf removal I noticed all these tops that weren't getting any light... This plant may end up being a diamond in the rough!!! A rose in the concrete!!!20220117_020005.jpg

Nice dude! Love when a plant owns the struggle and comes out. Good sign those genes love your garden. Anything by the same breeder would probably thrive and do backflips for ya.

This is an auto right? I still haven’t messed with them because I like to clone but they sure look good.

Great idea! I’ve used a box fan with a furnace filter on the back to trap sawdust but never thought to add them to the garden fans. I’m digging the vortex fans too though I’m starting to think they aren’t going last any longer than the honeywells or whatever. They do move a lot of air though.

After a while they lock up on you from the constant use and all the dust and everything that gets into the motor

Yep. I clean um every run but they just aren’t made for the constant use. I’ve been through at least 4 or 5 of those small $15-20 Honeywell fans. The vortex is better since you can run them lower power but after a year they’re starting to make that noise you know they’re gonna seize up soon.

Now is the time to get them if you can find them!!! I saw a couple of tower fans that would be perfect for a tent at wally world... Yo,I just won a FC 8000 from Mars Hydro!!! Its too big to fit into any of the tents I have so they are going to let me get something else in the same price range total, so I asked for a FC 4800 and 2 sp 150s and that still leaves a couple of bucks on the table!!!

I've gone through like 10 Honeywell fans now.
