Stretching towards the Heavens

So...I am growing a single plant in soil with cfl'S.

I vegged for a month, and the plant was about 5 inches tall and hella bushy.

But then I switched to flowering about two weeks ago...and since then the plant has stretched.

The plant in now 2 feet tall with 3 inches between each node.

How can I get it to stop stretcihng so darn much?

I have found that when going from veg to flower, if you gradually reduce the light, it stretches less. It should fill in though, 3 inches isnt' bad compared to some of the others I've seen on here.

This is very natural, see my threads for the 24/0 debate.

What you want to do when switching to flower from 24/0 or 18/16 is get them MORE light during the 12 on time.

They stretch searching for light, so you will need to compensate them.
