Strugglin plant, curling leaves

a friend gave me this plant and i think it might just be underwatered but i just want to know what other ppl think and want to know if theres anything i should do to help the poor thing out. i cared for it in his garden for a while and i think its improved a bit and i moved it inside tonight to get some extra light... heres a pic

it looks pretty damaged dude was it getting eaten by snails or something
repot it water it fertilize it and check for bugs if the soils really dry then it probably just needs water

Most likely some kind of stress, Possibly from a fan blowing on it, too close to light, your ph could be too high or too low, room/soil temperature could be a problem also, what kind of fertz are you feeding it? not much i hope.
