I used 1/2 or 3/4 inch pvc pipe and 3-way elbow connectors. It actually went together perfectly and was really cheap! The issue happened when I started wrapping the skeleton with the white reflective plastic. I didn't have a good system and was using duct tape to attach it. It was definitely not light proof or contained in any way to control air flow.wow im really glad i saw the part about you trying to make your own diy tent. Ive been thinking of doing that exact thing because i want to be able to have different plants in different parts of their life cycles in the same room. What happen to make you say screw it and just buy one? Ive been going through it in my head and still seem to get stuck on how im going to possibly set up an exhaust fan, make sure everything is lightproof, and what material i want to use for the covering.
When I started growing i couldn't keep my rh above 30 lol and temps were at steady 88⁰ and my plants THRIVE i don't have the scaleI have a small plug in heater, a fan, and I've been spraying the grow box when I can until my humidifier arrives. I'm currently at 65 F and 44% humidity. The problem is the humidity has been around 30%. Is that okay? I feel like she looks okay but what are your thoughts?
Thanks!
Hmm interesting. Yeah attaching the panda film is what I was worried about. Thanks for the responseI used 1/2 or 3/4 inch pvc pipe and 3-way elbow connectors. I think if more time was spent on how to attach the reflective material and/or insulation, it would be a good setup.
That said, I do plan to use it during summer where temperature isn't as much of an issue in the basement. Maybe by then I'll have figured out a good way to seal it and I'll have a veg and bloom tent
