StrwbryCoughxDesiel in coco - some help!

Hey guys, i got this StrawberryCoughxSour Desiel vegging. It was just transplanted into this 18oz Tacate cup and im using Canna brand coco.

My questions are:

1.) how often, and how much do I want to hand water this amount of coco?

2.) I dont have any coco specific nutes, so will normal soil nutrients work?

3.) what should the pH be when feeding/watering?

Its vegging right now until it forms a few more nodes and shows sex. Then going straight into 12/12. Thanks for any help

mix in some perlite and vermiculite... the vermiculite will help to retain water moister and perlite will increase drainage. you dont always have to use the same brand of nutes either. i know a lot of people that use different nutes than their soil. it just depends, certain nutrients are for different cycles of the plants life. in order to water, buy a moisture wand that way you wont under water or overwater. or theres the pinky rule, after the plants been watered check it everyday by sticking your pinky carefully down into the soil about an inch if it feels moist dont water, if it feels dry and the pot is really light then give it a dose of water. also dont make the mistake of adding nutes until at least you 5 or 6 week of veg, it'll cause nute burn that early on in the plants life

o and the pH level of the water you use should be between 6.3 - 6.8, MJ likes it to have a tiny bit of acidity rather than alkalinity

Sunkissed, thanks alot. Iv grown in soil before, but this is mu first time in coco. I understand that the pH needs to be a little lower than normal soil. I though it was somehthing like 5.6.-6.0 but i dunno.

I have alot of Advanced Nutrients nutes right now but only flowering nutes for my current grows. My friend is letting me borrow some FoxFarm GrowBig and im wondering if thats safe to use with coco. I wont be using it for another 2 weeks
