Hey folks! This is going to be my first run with Subcool super-soil recipe. Im still a newbie in the game , and only have a few indoor soil grows under my belt. My previous grows have all been somewhat succseful, Until later into flower when everything starts going south with deficientcy's left and right! last grow I had big beautiful plants thriving through Veg and into early flower. When late flower hits i start seeing a cal-mag issue that I think errupts into multi- nute lock out (brown and yellowing with dead spots on leaves everywhere!) that i cant get rite! Both of my last runs were with ffof/perlite mix in 5 gallon smartpots, running general organics GO line with some bud candy and some organic blackstrap mollasses later in flower. Now Im thinking my Well water was to hard, and had a great deal to do with the def. Problems. I have never checked the PPM/EC of my water before this point . So i figured out it was immpossible to try treat these def. problems without knowing all my varibles i.e water quality and PPM/EC of feeding solution , This combined with my hard water was the main part of the problem( i think?) ,along with using only ffof for full term growth...Veg-flower Ok since my last grow i have bought a brand new Reverse Osmosis system and a new ppm/ec pen from blue-lab. And after doing much researching I have decided to switch mediums to SUBCOOLS SOIL recipe (Bought all ingredients and Mixed myself) After hearing about all the great feedback about it! and to use only RO water for my upcoming grow. I will be monitoring ph and ppm closely this time. My big Question for all you Very talented Organic growers that are all over these forums is, What Is the most basic, efficient way to get the most out of this Soil and my new RO water system. Basicly How should i feed my plants in this soil, and what additives do i need, and not need? Example: cal-mag, sugars.ect. .I just want to keep it basic and simple as possible. If anyone can share some knowledge on this situation Me and my plants will thank you! Also keep in mind im still a Newb. And have not worked with RO water before this point... A simple feed and water regime w/ the correct PPM/EC for feeding in soil would be super helpful!! Thanks peeps
