Anyone who reads what I post already knows the results, but hopefully this will provide some more detail and insight.
One:
Cut this girl at 8 weeks. I tended to let most of my girls a little longer than was probably necessary, but that's ok. This one I did not.
Appearance/yield - you be the judge. Quite nice I'd say. Sativa dominant buds here without a doubt. I think this one had a lot of potential to yield. I can't give a great assessment of that as they didn't all receive identical amounts of light. I had plants packed in. It's obvious this strain has heavy yielders though.
Smell - They all smelled great. This one smells of fruity dankness. There's definitely subtle diesel undertones from the mom/pop (feminized cross).
Potency - very good. Stronger than most weed you can get on Vancouver Island.
High - Sativa dominant, but this one had the most indica influences I would say. Not quite as motivating but a really nice and enjoyable high that is relaxing. I think for a rookie it would be pretty anxious, but for someone with tolerance it's very nice at the end of the night if you don't want to crash hard yet.
Two:
Sorry about the close ups, simply used a 15x loupe with my camera phone. Not ideal, but it gives you a better idea. This one came down a week later.
Appearance - Small tight buds. Long internode spacing means pretty OG like structure. Of course I want to run it again to see how I can improve on it. All of these are covered in frost, some more than others. This one was on the frostier side.
Smell - This is definitely more diesel leaning in smell, I think appearance too. A really nice dank fruity smell. Anyone familiar with plants crossed with The One should instantly recognize it. Very very nice.
Potency - Outstanding. Very potent. This strain is not highly recommended for low tolerance smokers as I believe extreme anxiety could be induced, as well as general paranoia. It sounds like maybe I'm trying to pimp this, but it's the truth. You've been warned.
High - More sativa leaning, but still some subtle indica influence. None of these really cause you to crash and burn. But the other 4 are more classically motivating, although this one is pretty good. Nice end of the day smoke, very nice. All of these will make you enjoy music and life more.
Three:
The buds you see are all that remain. This one was incredible. Probably the most raw potency of all of them. Potentially a huge yielder (all the branches were bending and breaking from the weight of the buds). I really wish I gave it a better spot in my garden last run. Unfortunately I lost the clone to this when I got sick and ended up in the hospital. In fact I lost 4 out of 10 the same way when they were babies . I had been having some stomach issues, but I have since sorted them out. Acid reflux related. Still, it sucks. I'm hoping I mislabeled some of them. This one was cut a half a week after two.
My friend smoked this one. He's been growing on the island, which is pretty well known for having outstanding cuts floating around and runs a hydroshop. He said it's easily some of the strongest weed he's ever smoked. I gifted him a joint and he and his employee smoked it before biking home one day. He said he had to stop and walk because anytime car lights came within 600m of him he started to freak out and become paranoid he was about to get smashed. He said once he got home he relaxed and really enjoyed it. It was mind blowing for him. It's mind blowing for me too.
Appearance: Beautiful. These aren't really even the best examples, but the most trichrome coverage I think of all. The density on the buds isn't anymore than some others, but the leafs were more heavily encrusted. Just gorgeous.
Smell: Grape. Green grapes. Just incredible. Slight diesel undertones on cure, but pure grape on cut.
Potency: Extreme.
High: Fantastic trippy, happy, motivating. Can induce paranoia and anxiety in some. I never have issues with those and in fact enjoy them when they occur because I know it's just the drugs and the drugs are obviously working really well.
Four:
You can see the resemblance to two. This one is more haze leaning, but still diesel dominant. It's almost as good as three. I love it a lot and I have a cut of it. Three - six are all highly motivating. One and two only somewhat. Taken down a week after three. Probably should have taken it down sooner.
Appearance: Frost covered with hints of purple. Fairly dense small nuggets. This plant didn't receive a tonne of light relative some and I think could be a heavy yielder.
Smell: That classic fruity diesel smell. Smells great.
Potency: Excellent. Just a notch below Three. Two was the same.
High: Clear and motivating. Maybe a slight bit of body but it's not so noticeable as you will be too busy getting stuff done. Classic sativa.
Five:
This one was not as potent. You can tell from the crystal coverage. But it was the heaviest yielding plant in my garden and I loved the effect. Taken down a couple days after four.
Appearance: Despite not being quite up to the others, still outstanding. Very sativa looking buds with a very sativa effect. Kept wanting to push pistils forever and piling on weight, had to say stop at some point.
Smell: Very very hazy. Best way to describe it. Incense with hints of fruit and that diesel is still there. It doesn't seem to want to leave. But mostly haze.
Potency: Very good. Not as outstanding as some of the others in terms of raw power, but the effect is so nice and you notice the first hit. It clears your mind.
High: Very very very motivating. I smoked this and literally cleaned my house top to bottom as it just started bugging me. Mentally stimulating - a real classic clear headed haze. Very enjoyable. Makes everything better. Relaxing. I don't think I'd be so concerned with someone getting paranoid and anxious from this.
Six:
This girl is right there with three in terms of potency. This plant is outstanding. Very haze dominant. Super foxtailing. Just gorgeous buds if you're a sativa lover. I took this girl a week and a half later than five. It also wanted to keep pushing, but I think it needed the extra week and a bit. I think I harvested this one at a great time.
Appearance - obviously outstanding IMO. Incredibly dense trichrome formation on the buds. The leafs weren't bad either although not quite as nice as three in that regard. The buds might even be more frosted though.
Smell - Pure haze. The diesel really doesn't come through here. Fruit undertones.
Potency - Outstanding. Anxiety I don't think will be as much an issue with this one and it doesn't have the indica fuzziness that some of the other phenotypes have despite this smokes ability to cut through anything you might be currently experiencing (for real).
High - Pure haze. Sounds and visual stimulation. Incredibly motivating. Clear headed, creative. The creative part can go for all of them, but this one especially.
Verdict? I had a few of the plants throw nanners late, but I don't care about that. No big deal. The seed you see in that one picture is a result of a different plant going full herm (my own fault). I have some interesting seed stock to play with of my own creation to be honest. I have saved them all and I might grow them again before I grow anything else out from seed.
So if that doesn't say it all, I don't know what does. This strain is outstanding and I have a difficult time believing a better sativa dominant hybrid exists.
