Sugar water last week of flowering?

I was reading through some other sites and came upon a grower who talked about putting sugar in the water to make buds more sweet and sticky after the plants have been flushed. Has anyone else tried this? Does it work? If so what is the ratio per gallon of water to add the sugar in?

Molasses is the trick.

In his book Marijuana Horticulture, Jorge states that by adding sugar (usually in the form of molasses) to your watering mix for the last six weeks you can increase your harvest/bud size up to 20%.

Jorge Cervantes is the author of more than 25 marijuana grow books in 7 languages. He writes for more than 20 cannabis magazines in 7 languages. Jorge attends/speaks at more than 6 cannabis fairs every year.

This is a great thread on why molasses should be used in flower, though somewhat technical and involved for most:
