Looking for some suggestions/comments before I dive into the build of my grow rooms.
First is the plans for my veg room, Total space is 2x3 with 8ft height. I plan to hang my light bar at around 6ft so all 8 will not be utilized
window in room is already boarded up so I am going to put a louver vent in that to exhaust heat
I wanted to use MH for the veg room but I couldn't pass up the deal I got on this 150w HPS. Having been successful vegging a lot of clones under HPS in the past I think it will work out fine. I was thinking that I will supplement the HPS with around 8 23watt 6500k CFL bulbs to get a mixed spectrum. I plan to add a DIY carbon filter in case I need to use this room for flowering during the hotter months.
My flower room is my previous veg room from 4 years ago,
It is 4x3 with a 5ft height. Above it is a 3ft tall section where I plan to start my clones using CFL's and building a 2 side barrier to not lose light
Flower room will have a 400watt HPS in air cooled hood, (the only thing I have right now is the hood, still deciding on the light)
carbon filter, can fan and exhausting into air vent
