sulfur as an outdoor pesticide or repellant

Well I have 2 week 5 flowering females, and I have some sulfur dust that claims to get rid of a multitude of pests like thrips and red spider mites. would it be safe to dust on my girls?

never heard about sulfer for pests but I do know it gets rid of powdery mildew.

Probably make your weed smell like farts when burned.
