Hey friends,
First post on a forum that isn't ICmag ever. Looking forward to joining a new group. This is most of what I'm testing outdoors this summer that is from seed. I'll update as I go. Feel free to comment as you please.
Everything I do is direct seeded into potting soil, no buffers, no fudging results.
Cindy 99 circa 2000. My friend passed away and I inherited his gear. He took a trip overseas in early 00 and brought back a few packs of Brother's Grimm Cindy 99. We sprouted some all those years ago and got a grapefruit leaning female that we love, which is funny because I guess she's the cull phenotype and a decaying pineapple leaning male that is passable. After his death I was given his stuff including nine original Cindy 99 seeds.
We planted 9 seeds and sprouted 8 seeds. Amazing rates for 20 year old seeds.
Florida OG. So look I'm not really expecting to find what I knew of Crippy or Ocean Grown but what if I'm wrong.. What if, by some unaccountable chance DNA had the plant I knew of as Crippy as S1 seeds. Well I had to try.
We planted 12 seeds and sprouted 4. Infertility happens and isn't a reflection on the strain itself. Lots of strains prove to be sterile while remaining top end elite cuts that end up in 100 strains. Just means maybe backcrossing could have potentially been a better breeding route.
Kali China Breeders Pack Ace Seeds. If you don't love Ace seeds then you don't love Cannabis. I will be slowly and carefully working through all their breeders packs as I have time and will likely start a fresh thread just for my Ace love. Had a very unique experience with the Elites. I had a single seed with two embryos inside which emerged into two plants from a single seed. Two sprouts from a single seed that do not share a central taproot. Very interesting genetic expression I have never seen before.
KC Elite F3 X F4 planted 4, sprouted 5 seeds.
KC F4 S1 planted five seeds, sprouted four seeds.
KC Line 21 F5 planted six seeds, sprouted six seeds.
KC line 22 F5 planted six seeds, sprouted six seeds.
Also threw some Nepal Jam feminized seeds and a Bubba Hash S1 in the mix.

Nepal Jam feminized seeds planted three seeds, sprouted three seeds.
Romulan Standard from Romulan Genetics
I was passed a zip of flower to look over for a friend. Often people ask me to confirm the cut or clone or seed is close to the "real thing". Like I know if what I had before was "real". Anyway not to get distracted from my story the flower was incredible. REAL FUCKING ROM?!? From seed? Can it be? Well I had to see if I reproduce those results myself from standard seeds and hopefully get a male for a project I have in mind. Overall we split 72 seeds over three locations, this will logs my 24 pack but may also include pictures from the other test grows we're working on.
Planted 24 seeds, sprouted 23 seeds
Temple Flo from Old World Genetics
These latest drops from DJ and JD are just amazing chance to see some crazy good genetic expressions. I can't wait to see what comes from these special beans. On seed has a weird cotyledon emergence. It has three embryonic leaves instead of the normal two. Hoping for a mutant but only time will tell.
