sun dusk night

Is dusk still 'sun hours' or is it 'night hours' - e.g - sun is gone but not night yet - what does that count in hours of daylight??

i think dusk is the part of the day when the sky turns that hazy pinky peach color before the stars come out. thats the nicest way i could descibe it.

i call it by looking at my blinds. if i can see light thru them when they are closed it's day. if i look towards the window and the edges are dark it's night. that pretty much how i've been doing it for years.

I wouldn't count dusk light if we are talking about a grow. The minute the sun dips below the tree line or houses, I would consider that the end of sufficient light to effectively grow.
