I went to this site: http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/astronomy.html?n=137&month=10&year=2009&obj=sun&afl=-11&day=1
Looked up the sunrise sunset times for my area. Outdoor plants start their flowering cycle around the second week of August. On August 14th the daily sun time (DST) is just going under 13 1/2 hours. The DST doesn't get to 12/12 until Sept. 26! And 8 weeks later (October 2) the DST is at around 11 1/2 hours.
So with this table and a daily programmable digital timer is it beneficial to mimic this chart? Or does the 12/12 FORCE flowering better than a natural setting?
Anybody know?
TIA
