Sunset Sherbet

I went to a local dispensary and scored an 8th of Sunset Sherbet.....this batch was trimmed terribly but it still looked good, bright green with random spots of a violet purple/pink .....wish I took pics.

Anyway, ive heard ppl raving about this strain and how great it is...

Thats not my opinion at all......it looks very enticing dispite being poorly trimmed.

The smoke tastes almost identical to smoking Gelato to me... .the high is similar as well, but noticably weaker than any Gelato ive smoked.

Taste was similar as well.

Gelato is hands down better....this is about a 6/10 overall to me.

Gelato is the progeny of a sunset sherbet x thinmint cookies. So similarties to be expected. Also pheno and quality of the grow is to be taken into account. I personally haven't had any gelato that I've been fond of, but have sampled some well grown sunset sherbet that I would grab again.

Gelato actually tastes like sunset sherbert instead of the other way around.

Gelato is sunset sherbert x girl scout cookies that is why s. sherbert and gelatos taste similar.

I haven't smoked sunset flower but the concentrates were fire. Ive grown gelato 33 and 45 (mochi) and both tasted great but 33 could use a bit more potency.

Does any one know where I could find some good cuts of gelato, sherbert and some of their crosses?

Like gelato #41, #33, gelato 41 x thin mint, etc

You could try the strainly thread here. Strainly is website that people use to sell clones. Some more reputable than others so you'll need to do a little research but that thread should get you going in right direction.

The true Sunset Sherbet is a clone only strain. It's good stuff, and the buds grow quick, but it can be prone to hermies since it's got GSC in it.

Thanks, I should have known that. lol. I just searched "sunset sherbet" and saw this thread so I figured I should atleast ask.
