I have the smallest apartment known to man. Its shocking actually. I had my plants stolen last year so outdoor is not an option. They were huge. It broke my heart. So I've managed to set aside a cubby in my bathroom for my wee grow.
Specs:
*Odd shape about 2'x1.5'
*Top light is actually a seasonal depression light. It's a 6400k LED and super bright but it's just holding place for a t5 I usually have there which blew a bulb a couple of days ago.... in a pandemic
*Vertical light 150w led full spectrum light in bloom. This setup was me working with what the plant gave me but admittedly not ideal.
*Bathroom fan always on for exhaust and a small fan on the plant for circulation. No issues with smell so far.
*blackout curtain that I close before lights out and open in the morning.
*Soil mix given phed water and mild nutes added in bloom.
*Big mama is a orange tangie that makes my fingers smell like grapefruit! About 6 week flower.
*little runt is a likely dude durban poison I threw in here to verify faster. Keeping a close eye and won't allow to pollinate no worries.
I purposefully did not train this plant. I wanted to see what would happen and if it was better for my tall and skinny space. The answer was no. But this grow led me to realize that for my space, one plant is ideal but it can be a bigger plant with a more even canopy with lst.
Posting this to show that you can grow on a budget and in an unusually small space.
Also looking for suggestions to improve my grow area. Yes. I'm already planning on taking down the foil for my next grow. The paint behind it is white anyways. Any others?
Next grow will be auto bruce banner!
