super cropping gone bad

I wanted to try out super cropping one of my plants.
I bent the main stem about 4th node...more of a squish And bend

Now there are a few vertical splits in the stem pretty wide. Been a few days still healthy not showing any signs of sickness from it..but it hasn't closed up I thought I'd get a knuckle

Should I put honey on it and wrap it to help close it up

Sheiot happens... And sometimes your plants just shake it off... othertimes...
Good luck ... If I snap a branch, I use twistie ties and skewers to build a mini scaffold to hold up broken branch...
