Super Lemon Haze - Grow/ Smoke report.

Another super lemon haze report, sorry for the bad pictures but it's the best I could do.

Strain: Super Lemon Haze
Breeder: Greenhouse
Grower: WOWgrow

Grow Info: Grown in coco over the winter so temps were very low (tent in my garage). Vegged for 8 weeks, didn't have a ph pen until week 7 flowering and turns out my ph was 7.9 when in coco it's meant to be 5.8 - 6.2 so nutrient lockout stunted growth a lot. Flowered for 12 weeks.

Cure at time of smoke test:
20 days.

Bag Appeal:
Huge, some of the frostiest buds I've ever come across. Everyone who smoked it said it was a shame because it looked so nice.

Smell:
This pheno was a very lemony/ musky smell. Absolutely awesome, have had my snout stuck in my jar more times than I can remember.

Taste:
Very citrusy on in inhale and then the earthy lemon musk on the exhale. Make sure you clean your glass because you're going to want to taste this one!

Effect:
Very cerebral in low doses. At high doses your thoughts will race to an almost confusing level, definitely not to be smoked just before bed. Mine had a slight couch lock because I let it get some amber trichs.

Final Thoughts:
A very powerful strain. Considering my main use is for insomnia this isn't a sleep aid at all, definitely a day time smoke and make sure you have some people to smoke with otherwise your thoughts will just be racing round your head with nowhere to go!

I just finished up my super lemon haze grow as well. I had all indica phenos. Finishing in just over 10 weeks with mostly cloudy trichs.
I was very impressed with this strain. As you described, the taste is awesome, just as you described. Also the buds are very dense, and beautiful.

I might recomend you try growing again to get teh indica pheno. It still wont help you sleep, but its a very nice 50/50 blend. It leans slightly towards the sativa side, but not much, and the body buzz is great. Its long lasting, and the sativa influence isnt to the point of racing thoughts, rather it gives it a euphoric, thought provoking trait, and the body buzz keeps you from flying away and nice and mellow.

Yeh what I've noticed about people growing this strain is that there seems to be loads of different phenos. I definitely like it for a daytime smoke like you said, really nice. The indica pheno you described sounds a lot more balanced and would probably sit better with me but I know there are plenty of people who would love this pheno. It's all just personal preference isn't it.

I was planning on growing SLH but the long flowering time put me of lol I've tried SLH before from my dealer and it smelt so nice, kind of like lemon and its nice to know there is another UK grower here =D The plant must have gotten so tall with 8 weeks veg, how tall did she get?

Can't wait. I have my first SLH nearly ready for harvest, and a few more in various stages.

Man my buds looked nothing like yours mine were more compact and dense not spread out. Yes I get like paranoid and worried about stupid shit since I been smoking this.. crazy stuff like losing my teeth, dying, shit around the house.. its crazy at times.

just pulled my slh. it took 15 weeks. 4 weeks to start flowering. never again took to long

Nice 1 Wowgrow, im attempting the SLH today. Germinating as we speak.

What is the stretch ok this plant once it is flowered? Typical flowering time? And average yield?

Couldn't agree more here! Also, loads of phenos from when I was growing her...I ended up keeping one that makes the biggest bottom buds I ever seen (although tops never got impressive, and if lollipopped it seems to drastically air the top out Those buds look very nice. Low night temps sent mine coloring into week 5 of flowering. At the end the tips of a few calyx would get hard like the husk of a seed would look like it was trying to form, but never actually (every round...ran her perpetually for a year). Still have a clone, I will run her at least once now that I've switched to hydro and see how it does, but I'd have to order more beans to get some more slh in my line-up on a consistent rotation. I wish I had a picture of the wax I made from straight trim...golden godly goodness indeed, tasted better concentrate
