Super noob Question, but plz help

Im trying to build a very small compact grow room for stealth grows. I plan on using 100w Fluorescent bulbs. Question is where can i get the Socket for these bulbs to go in. I really dont want to order anything offline atm. Would lowes, home depot, or walmart carry such a thing for a 100w Fluorescent?

are you talking cfl or regular tube flos

I wanted to use CFLs i Was thinking 2 100w

ive seen 42 watt bulbs at canadian tire that fit regular sockets

at the walmart and the home depot near me i can get these things. at walmart i believe they were "a lamp in a bottle kit"... something like that. basically it was a light socket and the cord. i believe they were around 5 bucks each.

i got a lamp set-up with a clip on reflector that i was using for cfl's at petsmart.. they were in the aisle were all the crap for reptiles and stuff was.. i think i got the 10inch jobber and it ran under $20... just be sure to open it up and check for the clamp part as the first one that i bought was missing it and had to take it back and get another one.. i had put a 26 watter in it and was using it for germination and worked good.. the 26 watters usually say 100 watt equivalants and what they are comparing them to is a regular incadescent bulb..

no problem morbid.. i am not sure how i came up with going to petsmart, but i was glad that i did.. i think they had a 6", a 8' and a 10' one.. i went with the ten incher as it was only a couple more bucks.. they also had this hood looking thing that was able to hold two cfl's at one time.. kinda side by side, and i got one of these too, but never ended up using it as i couldn't find a way to mount it and bought myself a t5 set-up from htg supply for like $150 or so and is two feet long and has four bulbs in it and puts at 8000 lumens they said..
you can just buy as many of the small clamp on styles that you want and i would think they should work good.

they also have alot of threads on here just for people who grow using cfl's.. just do a search for cfl's and you should find plenty.. i am sure the people in these threads woud be more than able to help answer any farther questions that may arise as you contiue to grow..

go to your local hardware or reclaim/reuse centre and get a bath mirror light they have 4 sockets and work great for cfl set up just take off the cover and most of them are just socket and wires other have a metal plate holding everything together
