Super soil question?

Has anyone made a batch of super soil in their basement/house? Do you have to let it cook in the sun? Would a t5 light also work for cooking the soil indoors? I really want to run a batch but I cant be outside mixing this all up infront of the neighbors. One last question, would snow hurt or slow down if it was down outside?

Thanks in advance!

I make mine in the basement. Doesn't need heat, but around room temp is good. It actually creates its own heat as it composts together.

Yes, snow WILL slow down the process. I'd go for the basement.

I got mine in the garage on a concrete floor and I live in the northern lands where it has been chilly. Still have a massive myco web on all the soil.

I get the web on my super soil but I live in AZ and even now the temperature gets into the 90's during the day but I have to mix my soil up with a shovel because the top layer gets dry is that cool? So the web is there the first week or two but then I have to mix up my soil.

Question, I've had my soil "cooking" indoors in a garbage can for more than a month and a half and I've kept it moist but not too moist and I have no web appearing. Does this mean it doesn't exist? Is there something I can do to hasten it? I had it in a kiddie pool covered by a tarp for a month first while I mixed it occasionally and I put it into the garbage can maybe 3 weeks ago.
