Supercropping help please

Hello, third grow
Have the actual dwc setup perfect now, roots are huge!
I followed hygrohybrid on YouTube..

Been scrogging and usually grow the plants up to the screen and weave through for 2 weeks then flip..
This time topped the plants couple of time and grew out.. Tried supercrop this time as the other method took ages every second night weaving..
Squeezed and bent each thick branch gently all looked OK.. Went to get the scrog screen, came back and some of the branches mildly snapped I think..
Now sections of each plant the tops and leaves have majorly drooped.. Am I doomed or may it all come back eventually?

All you can really do is splint it and hope that it heals itself. Hold up the branch that is drooping and give it some support.
I wrote a guide on supercropping on here a while back. Personally I found that if you slowly bend a branch back and forth to the point where it gets tender or roll the stem between your fingers like rolling a blunt you can get the same thing done without overbending/snapping a branch. Never squeeze/pinch

It looks like that branch is gone though the stem is torn open pretty good so therefore the phloem that sends nutrients through the plant probably is gone in that area

Thanks for the reply.. That's the break there.. At this stage all the tops and leaves on that stem are nearly dead.. Probably not much I can do man hey

Hello Thanks for the reply, I have been reading heaps and apparently you squeeze and bend.. I will check out your guides cheers for that.. Also I can't really splint back straight as its now all bent under the screen. Cheers

I find that a little Low Stress Training Before dropping my screen over my girls goes a long way. Is that the Main Stem thats Snapped or is that a branch?

Why do you say that? Suppercropping takes place in the innerherd of the plant. You are getting the same thing done without damaging the outer where all the support is coming from. I've found gradually bending it back and forth more and more always gets the job done without damaging the outer rather than pinching and bending to far to the point it breaks open. To each his own though I guess

Ok cool.. I did the thumb and forefinger thing to start.. But the stems were way too thick just after the first topping.. So I used adjustable pliers to squeeze it haha.. I'm sure I will get the hang of it eventually.

wrap it with that thread tape plumbers use or some cling wrap (cellophane) it's pretty busted up but you're at the end of the grow just help it and see what happens. or that's your next clone

Hello, I need some more advice please.. So it's been 4 days and about 80% of the entire crop has died off haha.. Pretty much everything after I pitched and bent is really droopy and flat on the scrog screen.. Parts that are left looking healthy are separate stalks coming off main branch that were not touched.

I have three plants with three 600w lights going over this scrog net I built.. I am thinking of taking off the scrog net, pushing the three plants/buckets together and just running one light over the three plants bunched together under a smaller net..

Should I cut away everything else that seems to be dying including all thicker stems where i tried to supercrop down low..or just leave it.. I need to flip to 12/12 asap but they are obviously already majorly stressed.

I definitely won't be supercropping again for a couple of years obviously have no idea what I'm doing.

I've snapped the fck out em massive splits just add little honey to break and tape it up it will be fine only time u can fck if u snap is in flower cause stem go real woody

U can't fuck up super croppin u pinch hard then roll finger over pinch then bend if u snap tape up

Maybe if u didn't tape up bad break the water can't get up the stem

those r some pretty bad wounds, yeah tape is good and also immediately reduce the light to lower stress. the heavily wilted ones will die. maybe u have other issues in your water/ res. beyond any super cropping. just super crop earlier next time.

when u super crop squeeze the stem till u hear a crunch then fold it over not get a hack saw and go friday the 13th on em lol

Hello..

I had to pinch with pliers as the stems were nearly 2cm thick I think I did it too low I don't know.. Have air con at 26°c (78°f).. I didn't tape anything everywhere I pinched was at a right angle and threw the screen over.. Have no idea what I'm doing haha.. Pretty sure I did it too low on the plant.. I mean I used pliers to pinch what a noob

Yes it's been four days and still have the screen on.. If I was to tape them would have to take the screen off and tape.. Don't think it would help much.

Haha yes used pliers to pinch.. Think I did it too low on the plant where I pitched and bent stems were about 1.5cm thick I wasn't strong enough.. Cheers

Hey.. This pic here was the last plant i did.. No bends look snapped.. I only crushed half with pliers and did the rest with fingers.. All bends are going brown after four days.. Still everything on that plant looks very wilted.. I have no idea

Dude it disent look that bad ive seen worse actually i would get a small pebble or penny and put it in the middle of the wound then put some gray tape around the wound. It preatty common to do this its a bit of a master grower secret.
