There should not be any stunted growth when growing ww. How is your soil drainage? How far is your cfl from top of plant?

I noticed you said you have them fox farm soil and have been giving them nutes. With fox farm soil nutes are not needed for the first 3 weeks, since there is enough organic material in fox farm soil.

What type of soil is it IE: ocean, forest, happy frog ect ect.

I did'nt give them any nutes. at first but I did today and now I think because it's my first grow with a strain thats not swag seeds I got ahead of myself so what should I do and it's in oceanforest soil

Super-Thrive is basically Vitamin B1 and Thamine. Thamine is a rooting stimulant that can be used on seedlings as well as newly cut clones. I also use Super-Thrive on any plant with signs or stress from transplant and it works wonders on them. The best part is the smallest amount, one drop, is all this is needed per. gallon of water. Because it contains no active fertilizers Super-Thrive has no chance of causing nutrient burn or any other damage for that matter, so one need not worry about giving it to their plants. Furthurmore, I have seen first hand the vigor Super-Thrive induces in struggling plants and I can tell you it does in fact work.

Super-Thrive DOES NOT increase bud size or yeilds and mind you this is not it's intended purpose. Most people gather this misconception from the advertisment which pictures super large fruit which they then equate to a wonder formula that will make their plants giants... not so. Rather, it is used as a quick and effective cure-all for immature and unhealthy plants.

In light of this, my theory is that Superthrive is a great quick fix for screwups and inexperience but it doesn't increase the maximum yield or growth rate of the plant. I mean if it did show a significant increase in yield...wouldn't we all be using it?

But thats just my theory :clap:

IMO it very well could be your lighting and your seedling is only responding to the level of the light it is receiving, while they don't need a lot of light early in sprouting I have seen that when they are exposed to more light at the beginning the thicker the stems turn out and the larger the leaves become.

Granted, I have seen some monster grows with cfl's and there are plenty of guys doing great jobs with amazingly low wattage floro's, but in my personal experience I have seen how much faster my plants are growing and the size difference IS noticeable. I've used multiple 32 watts floro's, 250w floro's, 400w mh/hps and 600w hps all for vegging my plants and keeping mother's and hand's down the 600's grow em best. I still use my 400w but this is more for younger plants both seedlings and freshly rooted transplants that once adjust for a week or two get moved closer to a 600w. Here is a summery of my experience:

Lower wattage floro's work and the plants will grow but I have found the leaves are relatively small as are the stalks and the rate of growth can be slow, this can be solved with more floros to achieve more lumens. I think floros would be ideal for keeping mothers and as supplemental lighting as you can get them very close without too much risk of burning the plant.

400w are good for vegging stalks seem to get larger in diameter and fan leaves get larger and growth is strong, it is not hard to notice growth differences every couple of days.

600w I typically have plants get under the 600's by the time they are a few weeks into soil. I really could not believe the difference at first, I really didn't expect it to be so noticeable between a 400 and a 600 but let me tell you, it is a huge difference. Plants under the 400w that had fan leaves almost the size of my hand were now larger than my hand in some cases much larger, stems once the size of an average pencil now are about the size of a nickel.

Back to the topic, I use ST to help with shock or sickness, ran out and need some more.

I use it, imho,.. if you got healthy roots, and lots of them, you will indeed get a bigger harvest. :weed:

i hate when people throw out somthing based on opinion and try to pass it off as fact with 0 supporting facts. If you are gonna throw somthing like that out there like that back it with fact or say in your experience it lowered your yield.Superthrive has been around for almost 70 years for a reason you can use it for multiple reasons.My friends and i swear by it , in vegg and flower.
