No. It's just a synthetic vitamin b1. Don't waste your time. It does absolutely nothing. It's not organic either

I use it as a foliar for clones. They love it!
There are much better products to give your plants a boost, but mentioning them always draws purists chanting "snake oil"...

What about using it once to water with right after transplanting? Wouldn't that be somewhat beneficial to the roots?

Yep, they'll love it. I give it to any plant that's stressing. Cloning and transplanting cause stress, and superthrive hits the spot. I've seen them respond with my own two eyeballs.

That's just a placebo. There's no such thing as transplant shock / stress. That's just unhealthy plants or root damage. Don't be rough with your plants.
