i have 2, 2.5x2.5x5 tents each with a rapid led 3 cob vero 29 kit driven at 2100ma. Overall they do me well but i feel like a little bump of red photons could be helpful. My 2 top choices right now are cree xp-e he photo reds or cutter has these 2’ strips with 112 nichia diodes, 25 watts@500ma. I need to keep my additional wattage under 50 per tent. Dont know if anybody has better suggestions?

If your just looking to give a bump in the red spectrum RapidLED has a great puck you can add to each of your setups. They have a 15% off sale for black Friday this weekend so you could grab a pair at a discount.

I have considered that, just dont know exactly what i want to do or what would benefit me the most. I have considered running the flower initiator puck for 15 min at lights off and a 13/11 light cycle making more use of the light i have but was more leaning towards increasing ppfd via 630-660 monos. Heres a link to the strips i mentioned. Looks good on paper

For additional reds you should look in the Deep Red 700nm or Red 680nm. 730nm Far Red is circadian for putting plants to sleep

Personally I'm not such a fan of mono colors. I prefer a wider spectrum. I used Vero 10 2000k cobs to add what your looking for.
Here' a link to my grow if you want to see how it' going.

The strips would have a similar effect, a little better spread and efficiency

yup.

When I built my pair of 48" four lamp arrays I added 14 XP-E 660's driven by a Meanwell LPC-35-700 on each bar. They are on a separate circuit that I run during flower-adds a noticeable glow when on so I'll see if they add any benefit in a few months during this run. I just used a thermal epoxy to mount them on my framework-the channel acts as a heatsink and they get barely warm after hours of operation.
