Survivor?

So this bean sure has had a rough life. Once it popped I tried to plant it and dropped it on the floor. I got it into the pot finally with some rough manhandling, but I lost it... didn't end up in the hole I made for it. I couldn't see it so I just scrambled the dirt and hoped it was in their somewhere.

Low and behold, it sprouted. But it couldn't shake the seed husk. So I went after it with tweezers and slipped. Squeezed too hard and I took the entire top off except for a wee bit of leaf.

And none of this has stopped it. Look at it come. But... the battle isn't over. There is too much moisture in the pot, I figure... and I wonder if that little bit of green will transpire enough to dry out the soil before the roots choke out....

So does it make it or no? LOL

Play "Eye of the Tiger" to it. I think it will make it?

Wow...not only has the poor thing survived... it has flourished. Its the best of the bunch. If it is a girl she is going to be my mom...
