Swamp grow

Alright, so im planning on growing outside this summer. I already have them going indoors, its been about 3 days since they have sprouted. Im going to transplant them outdoors when they get maybe a foot tall. I plan on growing them in pots in a swamp.( This swamp is in the middle of the woods with nothing but trees around it and its large.) And im able to walk back there by walking on big grass mounds as stepping stones. In the dead center of the swamp, the ground is somewhat dry.( Its still muddy but theres no water.) Do you guys think the idea of getting a bunch of milkcrates together and making a platform on the patch would be a good idea? Im not gonna just grow on the mud because i dont know if the water will rise. Id be using a decent amount of milkcrates, maybe enough to make a 9 X 9 box. What are youre guys's opinion about this????:blsmoke:

There is a great tube method around here some were..
Also burlap sac/bags layed out on logs works well..
Or elevated beds ar easy to make and also work great...

Potential Swamp problems. Lowlying areas does not get a good breeze, leaving the plants without good ventilation, which will kill them. Pest, everywhere in the swampy places. A screen may be the only way to keep the plant-munching critters from your plants. Spray diluted Orange Oil & garlic/pepper spray around the area, & maybe hang some Hot Shot No Pest strips around.

hey ive got almost an identical idea to yours although last year i went there and threw some beans into the middle of this swampy mud. Came back late summer and there was one 12 foot tall male plant there im talking a tree man.
what i would do is try some in the ground try some in the pots thats what im gonna do. But w/e u do u dont put all of em in that one spot.
