I know grove bags are suggested, I cant really afford their prices, but I MIGHT be able to swing Sweet Decades Lock & Seal Storage & Curing Bags. Anyone know if they are worth it, do they work? Like can i just toss the dried weed in them, and forget it for a month or two and have it be cured and good to go? More I think about it, Burping jars sounds like a PITA. The have good reviews on Amazon. Just wondering if anyone had used them and if so what the results were?

you can buy individual grove bags that are comparable in size to those. grove bags are $0.34/piece for kraft and $0.38/piece for opaque. the amazon vendor is selling 100/pk. you could spend a lot less, for a reputable product, and get a smaller quantity.
The smaller quanity is the Issue, I want to make sure I have enough on hand for many grows because I never know when I am gonna have money again.

I am using the sweet decades bags but it’s only been a couple of months. I put an ounce in 1 bag and an ounce in a jar. I heat sealed the bag and I still will air out the jar every so often. I will let you know the results in about 3 months when I open the bag.

I have never used grove bags so I can’t compare.

So far, Once dried, is it working for curing without burping? No mold growth? Holding humidity steady?

I opened 1 bag and it seems to be holding humidity ok. It’s only been around 6 weeks since I filled them. Maybe sometime I will buy a grove bag just to compare. I’m sure the sweet decades bags are cheaper for a reason, most likely the grove bags will be better quality overal.

I am running a balancing test on them now. I Hydrated a Mosicon pack to 80%rh, and put it in the bag with a Hygrometer, so far, its down to 72% so it does let excess mositure escape.
