Switch light on flowering plants?

Hey, all I have about 3 weeks left on my flowering GG AUTOS. They’re under a 600w hps light currently but later today my hlg 600rspec light should arrive and I’m wondering if I should finish them with the 600hps or change to the new led light?

If it’s your first time using high end led’s I’d have to agree with insomnia.
Your could probably end up having a learning curve and could mess with the plants.

I just bought a HLG fixture that replaced my 400mh/600hps. I hung it 27 inches at 40% power and light stressed the hell out of everything vegging.
Even had higher temps than usual and used a lux metre and a apogee mq100 to try to find the sweet spot

Thanks guys that’s kinda what I was thinking too, just excited to put the new light to use! I’ve never used led, this is just my 2nd indoor grow...
I totally get it new toys are the best!
Try vegging with it next run and you’ll be surprised how powerful it is,you should be able to gauge from there and work your way to bloom

If you don’t have a separate veg space this could be a good excuse to start one near your current grow.
I use the heat from my CMH(dimmed 250) that I use to over winter my cacti as the extra heat needed for my main flower tent.

the way I see it with led’s, if you need more heat why waste money on a heater when another light can do the same
