switching from flower to veg

Here's the scoop. I started a bunch of cristal paradise and only 2 made it. So, I kept those two for experimental purposes. After running them for a month with 18/6 lights, I switched to 8/16 for some sexing. Now they are about 3-4 weeks in to flower and I know they are fem. So, what can I expect when I switch them from the 8/18 hps to the 18/6 mh?

I have to go back to Veg because Im starting 9 new fems, and I have no desire to run alternate lights for 2 crops. (call me lazy i guess). Perhaps I'll get Hermies out of em? Ill keep a close eye for that so my other fem crop doesnt get ball smacked.

BTW, my experiment was to see if you may gain more from LST than Topping. I have to say, that the LST shows to be a hell of a lot bushier and more greenery. I am leaning towards the idea that topping sends the plant in to shock and stunts growth when the plant needs it most. LST however seemed to accelerate growth. Anyhow, this was the first test of many, so I won't stand behind my first findings.
I got this idea from another thread here, but finding threads in this place is a damn nighmare. If anyone knows the one I'm referring to, please link for me:bigjoint:

you might see hermies, it's a risk
but if the strain is solid, you won't, lot of growers go into flower, then back out to veg
vigilance is all i can suggest, hermies can pop up in the very inaccessible places on a plant, or so i've seen
no hermies yet for me(knock wood)

Havent noticed any hermies yet, but the topped plant is showing yellowing in lower leaves. I flushed 3 gallons of 6.0 tap water per gallon of soil yesterday, then hit 'em with strong earth juice grow nutes and molasses today. I'm hoping the influx in nitrogen will help with the yellowing. My babies were pretty far into flowering, so I guess its a toss up whether or not this will work. Ive also noticed some drooping in the leaves. Damn, thes were looking awesome, I switched the lights and now troubles. Oh well, aint like i wasnt expectin' it. :wall: Anyone else any ideas?

btw, the white on the leaves is just a little lime left from misting with it as a tap water buffer. Havent noticed it causing any issues in the past.

don't worry whether it will work, it will, but it may take some time, my reveg took a good month to show veg growth

misting is generally not a good idea, unless you have a sick plant that you need to foliar feed

Thanks for the info. I'll stop with the misting then, its a pain in the ass anyhow. 1month to show re-veg growth? AWESOME!! I went back to veg so i can run 'em with my new babies. If this stalls the cristal para for a month, then the new ones will catch up and the timing will be purrrfect! Thanks for the response, made me feel better for the moment anyhow!
