Switching light cycle to flower soon

So I'ma switch my light cycle from 18/6 to 12/12 in a few days. I want to have the 12/12 match my work schedule so my question is when I switch should the plants have 11 extra hours of dark or 5 extra hours of light?

It doesn't matter. Whatever's the most convenient.

Good question, and i have wondered myself. I've done it both ways and I didn't notice one way being better than the other.
