So.... I have got a few T5 Fluorescent tubes kicking around.

I want to fit some to my boxes lid and put some down as side lighting.

Fitting etc is not a problem... but wow... I just wanna be able to plug these things straight into the mains...

Is there an easy way to get these wired up without using one of the ready made, 3 strip tube panels with reflectors etc..,.

I basically want, a power cord that will connect to T5 bulbs.... I know how to use a link cable to link all of the T5s so I only need one power cord... but where can I get this power cord that will plug from T5 to Mains? Preferably UK mains but US will do fine as I have so many us-uk plug adapters.

Thanks anyone!

Thanks mate...

Pretty much what I am looking for!

Have been searching since and have found http://lightingpro.com.au/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=201

Looks perfect for me.

Anyone know what plug that is? standard US plug?

Also been looking at

http://www.agmelectrical.com.au/buy-led-lighting-en/linkable-fluorescent-battens/sunny-lighting-t5-28w-linkable-fluorescent-light-with-flex-and-plug.html

Just cheaper alternatives.... again... US Plug?

Currently have a 250watt CFL powering my grow box... getting a bit bushy so want to add 4 of these tubes connected to multi socket. Box is only 1 metre long so will need to be the 21 Watt T5
