Cool. Thx for your input manI trim all lowers to allow airflow
Thx man. Im planning a scrog. Just running a lil behind. Im planning on putting a post on each corner and running a grid made of twine. Do you have any tips for putting the scrog together or maintaining it??? Ill take a shot of the canopy real quick. Those are nicely topped. You could scrog the bejesus out of them.
Don't use twine. The fibers will get into your buds. You could weave your own with some type of thicker string, but nets are cheap. I'm probably going to switch to the stretchy type of nets soon. I'm jealous every time someone posts a picture with one. It's easy to make a frame out of PVC pipe, some corner pieces and self tapping screws. There are a bunch of DIY threads on here if you search. Some people build them with legs, but I hang mine from my tents with ratchet ropes.Thx man. Im planning a scrog. Just running a lil behind. Cool thx for the heads up on the twine. Im going to look into a stretchy net now. I built a 4×10 drain table out of 2x4s, plywood, and a pond liner. I was planning on attatching corner posts and running a net off of those. If I get a premade ne do you think I would have a problem wiggling it down over the branches with hiw big they are already?Don't use twine. The fibers will get into your buds. Ah, I see. I'm sure that would work, but it's probably too late to scrog since they're about finished stretching. You don't really want to manipulate the branches after that. You could use the nets as an upper bracing trellis though. I think the stretchy ones have hooks, by the way.Cool thx for the heads up on the twine. Im going to look into a stretchy net now. get the elasticated nets, the you can pull n streach the netting to fit round your buds without to much touching themCool thx for the heads up on the twine. Im going to look into a stretchy net now. sorry, i didnt see the bit about the streachy nets lolAh, I see. I'm sure that would work, but it's probably too late to scrog since they're about finished stretching. Awesome. Thats what Im looking for.get the elasticated nets, the you can pull n streach the netting to fit round your buds without to much touching them
I was debating on stakes at this point. Ive never done a scrog before so I didnt know if Im running to far behind to implement it. If I can get the stretchy net to work tho Id rlly like to try that. If not this run Ill use it on the next so it wont hirt to have either way.Ah, I see. I'm sure that would work, but it's probably too late to scrog since they're about finished stretching.
