i ordered a pack of nutes and as a free gift i got a little thing of root growth stuff. how does it work if i take a clone from a flowering plant? could i take a clone and re enter it into the veg state? just force it back onto 18/6?

thanks, reason i wanted to know is that i only have two plants, both are flowering

yes you can take a clone during flowering just take it from the lowest branch that is healty looking it just may take a little while longer to grow roots but you can do it people do this thing called the double bud method where they flower a plant then switch back to veg then flower again so basically you get a cola with nugs after nug in gaps its pretty funny looking

Yes you can, i had a good Hiawian Sweet Skunk plant with fair sized buds on it even in 12h and took 6 clones..... cut all the buds off them coarse...... and the 2 lowest branch ones were the only ones to root and are currently 2' tall in my veg room becoming future Mothers!

20 plants and one female? dude thats pretty crasy lol. clone it up! i took two clones last night, they are doing great, they were drooping at first, if youre gonna take cones u need to have a tent so it has good humidity. because without roots the clone cant eat, so it needs to be fed throught the leaves.
what i did is i got a clear stiff siplock bag and just put it over the clones (i only took two so far) its nice and humid in there, the bags got dew all over it. and within a few hours after putting the bag on they were standing up nice and strong. :D

Yea you just clone has normal make sure that the cubes that you are useing if you are useing rock wool cubes make sure that the cube is just kept moist because for the first 7/14 day this is only a houseing for the clone to stand in.keep checking after a week to see if the root system has come through.some dudes say it can take up to 14 days to be honest it has never took me that long 7/9 days max.has long has you look for a nice brance a fairly new grown one on the plant look for 4 nodes.take off the bottom two and make the 45 degree cut under water this may sound odd i thought that when i first heard it too,but i swear your clones will be far happyer less chance off any air follicule getting into the cut.then straigt out of the water you made the cut in to rooting gel or powder i use gel i have more succsess i leave it in the gel for at least a minute or so.make a hole in the cube if you look close there is one allready in them. Put the clone in the hole with the gel on and ently push the sides in up to the stem. Make sure the clone goes to the bottom of the hole you have made this will aid in the clone rooting just mist the cube if it starts to dry but i find that if the clones are going under cfls they stay damp through till roots are seen.forget about the cube once this has been done and focus on the leaves mist at least 2 time a day first thing in morning and last thing at night.keep these damp with some water put 1 drop of multithrive in every litre of water keep a check on the ph because this will change the longer it is left.i never set the ph above 5.0/5.5 this may sound low but any higher will only cause burning yellowing and all other problems if you stick to this method your cloneing will increase 100% in success.lift the cubes out when spraying the plant absorbs water through the under side has well has the top.i keep the ph at 5.0/5.5 untill i have at least two sets of new leaves then i go up to anywhere between 7.0/8.0 only when the plant is established. The same applies from a clone taken from a plant that has been taken from a plant in flower these will take a little longer and i would not get into a habbit of doing this practice. It is far easyer to build a small unit with a couple of flouresnts or a few cfls. But if you do need clone's of a flowering plant take double incase you lose some take them of the bottom of the flowering plant this is where the light has not penatrated has much i find you have more success with these of flowering plants good cloneing .
