Taking clones from outdoor plant.

I have 4 plants vegging outside and want to cut clones of this strain and grow inside. What should I do to the cuttings so I don't bring pests inside my grow rooms?

Keep them outside for a week spraying a citric acid based repellant daily

I dont flower anything indoors but I take cuts off outdoor plants and root them inside. I just like to dunk the fresh cuts in soapy water and swish them around a bit to dislodge any critters. Then spray em or dunk them again in your preferred ipm solution after they are rooted. Obviously, you shouldnt take clones off plants that are heavily infested. Quarantine and visually inspect them regularly before introducing them to any clean spaces or other indoor plants.

Pretty risky even if you spray them, I would suggest before taking cuts take a branch off with cuts on it, dunk it in a solution like Lost Coast Plant Therapy then take your cuttings and hope for the best. Plant Therapy is a bit weak on the alcohol so personally I add an extra splash of 70% Isopropyl Alcohol to the mix.
