So now that my state is legal recreationally, it's time to get going on growing my own.. I have a 3x3 tent and I have decided to jump into LED's for lighting instead of HID. I have a few questions that I could probably search for days in this forum to get the answers but I am a bit too impatient and I am sure I will have some follow up questions anyway.
I think I have decided to do a higher number of lower wattage cobs to get better coverage and it seems the run more efficiently at the lower amperage. I was thinking of maybe 9x of the citizen 1212 cob (advice/suggestions welcome) with passive heat sinks. I plan to use the same lighting for veg and flower so which color temp should I look at? I was thinking 3500k and then I'm wondering about 80 vs 90 for CRI. I want to be able to dim them and I want to know if it's possible to run them at 50%-75% normally with the ability to go to 100% as like an "overdrive" sort of thing. Is that possible? Is it as simple as a dimmable 1400ma driver dimmed down?
I am fully ready to committing to purchase everything and I am open to suggestions on everything! thanks for the help!
