Tallest Plant You Can Grow With 600w Light

What is the tallest plant i can grow with a 600w light, so that the plant will bud all the way to the bottom. I have used a 400w and those suckers can only yield decent sized buds on the top two feet.

depends on the reflector you are using and other environmental conditions but the 600 will blow doors on the 400 if used right

Cacamal is right all the factors are very important & the 600 watt will give u more light penetration. And of course the strain is a factor. In regards the height, I flower them under 1000watt s & some strains can get 6ft. tall+..But I have the room to be able to rise the lights. And long as u dont over crowd it should be fine. I tend to prune the lower smaller stuff off the bottoms so that upper buds can get real nice. Ive done both & get better results that way. Just from a lot of experience. I definity think u will be happier with a 600 watt. Peace & happy Gardening.

I haven't grown with hps light but if you say that it works good for the top two feet shouldn't you be trying to concentrate on the branches you have two feet under the light instead of trying to get the light reach the bottom branches ?

There are different techniques like topping, lst and other that could help.
