tap water flush ok?

i'm flushing with tap water since flushing with RO water from the store just isn't practical. out of the tap, it's 200-250ppm.

am i OK flushing my 15gal pots with 30-40gal of tap water straight out of the tap?

the most recent water analysis report for my area:

coliform bacteria 0-0.6 (units?)
antimony 1.39-2.36ppb
arsenic 0.019-0.024ppb
barium 0.19-0.024ppm
beryllium 0.26-31ppb
fluoride 0.118-0.816ppm
nickel 0-7.1ppb
lead (point of entry) 0-0.343ppb
nitrate 0-0.013ppm
sodium 12-21ppm
chlorine 0.22-3.8ppm
Haolacetic acids (HAA5) 20.0-48.4ppb
trihalomethands (TTHM) 27.4-70.4ppb

that only accounts for around 25 to 26ppm of the 200-250ppm of stuff in my water. i'm assuming that the rest is mostly calcium, magnesium, and other plant-friendly minerals? water seems somewhat hard when i bypass the water softener (which i do when flushing).

for nute water, most people seem to add calmag to RO water to around 100ppm. should i just mix 1/2 tap water (~200ppm) and 1/2 RO water (~0ppm) and skip the calmag?

I usually flush with tap water when I use too much nutes but its usually enexpected. I don't use ro water at all but I leave my water in gallon jugs for a day or too to let the chlorine dissapate. Once the chlorines gone plants can actually use a lot of the dissolved solids in tap water without harm. I usually flush the first few gallons through the pot with tap and then a gallon or two of tap that's veen sitting out 24 hrs to kinda flush the tap water through.

If I'm just doing my monthly flush and have planned on it I fill a few 5 gallon buckets n let em sit for a few days stirring occasionally.

You should be fine either way but to be safe you can finish the last gal or two of your flush with water that's been sitting out

you seem to be about the same as me. I use tap for everything. might want to let it sit over night to rid the chlorine.

so..... what about if you use the shit tap water i have, its shit, then you have a bunch of the crap water sittin out in good clean sterile containers under aeration, and then distilled water. If you used say 7 gal tap water, 7 gal aerated water and then 7 gal distilled water that would work in a 7 gal pot scenario?

Starting to use tap water....I don't flush at the end. I flush once in the middle of the grow, and thats it.

i flushed for the first time after about 10 weeks of veg from seed. so no flush at the end? some say it all comes down to how well you cure. some swear by flushing for several weeks. first grow, so i don't know first-hand...

I flush when I go from veg to flower then again two weeks before harvest. Had heavy nutes last year with no flush of slack on the nutes and it does make a difference imo.
