When you do a proper statistical regression and adjust for population samples there is absolutely no intelligence difference between conservatives and liberals.

While the majority of college students are higher intelligence they are also more likely to identify as liberal.

what i did say was that new yorkers are smarter than southerners. and this is true. just look at education statistics. you inbred crackers drag down the nation as a whole.

We've voted for Republican Mayors and Governors (Guliani, Pataki) just to name the latest ones and you can also include Frmr. Mayor Bloomberg on that list but some folks feel he's a RINO.

Republican presidents have always been hostile towards New York so why would we ever vote for a Republican President?

You're right and that's worth noting. But it doesn't make sense a republican would be hostile to NY. They HAVE to win OH and FL. But if they stole NY then that would be a coup of enormous proportions.

Presidential elections bring out more voters who don't give a fuck about state and local elections. Its an uphill hill battle for Republicans. So much so even Romney nor McCain never even spent much money there.

NYers will vote for the moderate/centrist Republican we just don't go for Republicans in the general. The last time NY'ers voted for a Republican in the general was before I was born and I'll be 60 in a couple of weeks, and that was because he was our Governor (Dewey) otherwise we are a solid blue state I guess you can say those are our NY values.

Trump will win here next Tuesday that's a given but in the general
fuggetaboutit!
