24*24*48 tent with 2000 watts led light And a 48*24*60 tent with a VIVOSUN1000 Watt Grow Light System HPS MH Ballast Air Cool Hood Kit. Which one should I use for veg and which one for flower?

I would run the 1000w HPS. I would use for both veg and flower. That 1000w HPS will be great for flower. Also if you’re worried about electric bill and you have an adjustable ballast turn it down the first 2 weeks. I let my HPS run at 100% a 100% of the time.
one huge piece of info u left off is how many plants are trying to put in here?

A 5 ft tall 2x4 may not have enough height for a 1000w HPS. You'll have to have powerful extraction and possibly AC to keep a small tent cool with that light. I think you'll have to run compact plants and train them low, maybe a scrog. A 4x4x7 would be a better bet for the 1000w HPS.

Not in a 2 x 4 x 5 - unless you want to turn your tent into a large Easy Bake oven. The largest HID bulb for that tent would be a 400W
HLG has a couple of 260 watt and 320 watt LED's that would rock a 2 x 4 x 5.

I have been leaving tent open with A/c on with fan in tent...doing that I'm holding abt 83°..

My 600 does fine in my 2.5x2.5 75 degrees no a/c just 6” carbon filter running 50%. To each his own I guess. Worst case scenario turn it down if it’s too hot.
OP if you’re already having heat problems using an HPS might not be a good option. I thought you were asking which tent you would prefer. I would prefer a larger tent with a larger HPS light vs smaller tent and whatever size that led is.
Does that air cooled hood not do much? I don’t have one.
