Temp environment problem

I am 4 weeks into flower, been having bad temp problems (being to high) Not clearing the room quick enough. I am going to put a bigger air out. The plants are only just starting to show very thin leaves and stalks. What should I do? Should I take them out and start again or can I save them somehow? bongsmilie

what up spunk?
your gonna need to give me a little more detail to get an exact answer....
How many lamps are you using? are they hooked up to cool tubes?? how many degrees does it actually get during light cycle and when its off?.....

You should not get rid of them and start over....
i would keep em and fix the problem... if you are already that far in flowering just keep going and try and make the environment better.....
there are many ways you can go about bringing the temps down.... without spending too much right away...
first try adding an air intake..... from the bottom of the grow room... make sure it is bringing in fresh air from somewhere with good temps.. (eg. the room next door or fresh air from outside if its not too cold)
if that didnt help; maybe a bigger fan or just another small fan....
third if your lamps are not in cool tubes, get some and hook your extractor to them in order to get rid of the hot air produced from the light bulbs......
If all that didnt work then invest in a bigger extractor... (exhaust fan) .....

i had the same problem..... and did all these things, one at a time hoping to bring the room to perfect conditions but each individual solution i tryed helped but not enough... so i ended up with a new intake fan, an new extractor, (already had it all hooked up to cool tubes) added a bigger fan for air circulation, and used the other one to aim straight for the light bulbs.....
finally i added co2 to the grow room because plants who receive more co2 than that which is already present in the air can take hotter temps, and more humidity... obviously along with that they eat up more fertilizers...

so there you go ... i gave you every possible solution i came up with for my self....

depending on what your temps are, what humidity you got, and the amount of plants per m2 youll manage to tweek the enviro, with each step until you get what you want... or more like.. what the PLANTS want :)

good luck, and dont give up on this round... your already half way through the flowering....

In the worst case scenario, they will just have more cbd than thc.... which may give you a bit of a head ache... so if you dont like it sell it off... and buy new stuff... or do what i do ... exchange it for something different with someone who really liked yours....

The plants are stressed. It is definatly the air so I am going to put a bigger extractor in. I have 150 under 13/600w. The plants are about 1ft tall (Big Buggha Cheese) but are very gangly. Temps have reached 111 when lights on and 68 when off. There is very little bud show.

111 that is HOT....
With that big of a set up i doubt a bigger exhaust would set you right....but you should definatily get one,
Try to bring your Relative Humidity somewhere beween 60% to 80% and Add CO2 to your grow room...
Adding CO2 will increase yield and will allow you to work with high temps and high humidity... but like i said earlier.. it eats up more nutes.....
Read up about it... i really think that co2 would be the best solution for the temps you got ....
even if you add a stronger or bigger exhaust.. youll probably need the co2....

peace out...;

Unless you can get the environment under control, starting again will only get you the same result. That said, I wouldn't give it up this far in. For such a large setup and that many lights, you're going to have to put AC in there.:peace:

Yess!!! I agree with doeyed.....i didnt think of that solution cause i can imagine youve already spent what you could and probably dont wanna spent much more until youve harvested..... and an AC can cost quite alot where im at...
