Always the 600 at 89. You can offset the heat stunting my using a co2 bag. Co2 allows plants to grow healthily at higher temps. I've heard of guys growing in the 90s just fine. Just watch out for nut lock out and whatnot you should be fine.
hmm i have a dr90II too with a 600 ... do you vent the hood seperate from you filter? i had my filter inline .. filter->fan->light->exhaust and had hot temps had to the light seperate from the filter
Really?! 95 degree temps lead to an increase in odor? Maybe because it so stifling that the heat brings the odor out more pronounced. I am from the dez and we deal with 110 + degree heat all the time. The biggest sign of heat stress is internodal and stem elongation. I would bet that the plants that have no issues with 90 + degree heat are sativas maybe even equatorial sativas.
i have to agree with you there MurshDawg, sativas seem to be able to take it a lot better .. but i like indicas lol or a mix with higher indica percentage .. they dont seem to like anything above 80 it seems when i grow them lol maybe its just me lol
That's about all I grow, Sats or Sat doms. No big internodal spacing tho. Yes, the hotter it got the more it smelled outside the room. Between 80 and 85, it was no problem, over 90 and it got smelly quick. It could be smelled down the driveway.
*edit* I let them get down to 40ish in the winter, as they tend to get a bit purple then.
