Still the one you liked to me a while back bro? The one for your Aero box? It doesn't even get hot at all?
The aerobox has stayed at 69F in a 75F closet for the first 9 days so far. Im pretty impressed.
Good to know. I've FINALLY learned cheaper isn't better with hydro. I little more for the pump is well worth it.
The other option, while still heating up your water a bit, is to instead of using a submersible water pump, find an inline that's affordable. Use either a small bulkhead or grommet and barbed coupling to plumb into the lowest point of the reservoirs wall to pull the water from instead. This way the ambient air takes on the pumps heat rather than your reservoir acting like a big heatsink.
I couldn't agree more. So many on Here having success without, but. In my mind, I wouldn't even begin to think running RDwC without one.
I run a chiller in my 5x9 flower tent, but not in my 4x4 veg tent. In the veg tent I use a lot of hydroguard and as long as I stay under 72 everything seems to be fine. The 75+ range is where everything seems to go terrible. And lets not forget the dissolved oxygen levels start to plummet above 70F.
I run one on my mini 13gal RDwC even!
I had a dedicated chiller for my 13 gallon reservoir too! Just a standard DWC though, not a RDWC
That's super smart because It's like its own waterfall not needing air stones.
