Temperature & powdery mildew help

everything I seem to read online says that cannabis grows best at 76 degrees. But I keep having problems with powdery mildew. I got a dehumidifier sprayed it with hydrogen peroxide and water and it still comes back I've thrown away 3 plants to due to this. I research a little on powdery mildew and it said it's harder for it to grow in hotter temperatures. Everything I read online says 82 degrees is the max temp and even that's a little hot for the plants. So what the hell am I supposed to do? Do I keep the temperature at 82 degrees because of the problem with powdery mildew or is that too hot for the plants. If the plants will grow in 82 degrees then I might as well shoot for 82 degrees instead of trying to keep the temperature at 76 degrees. It's such a pain in the ass to spray these plants. I got a lot of helpful answers on this forum about how to deal with the powdery mildew. I just want to know what temperature I should be shooting for and still be growing good weed. Thank you:cuss:

Buy some sm-90 dilute it to 7-1 and spray your plants once a week really good. This will kill and prevent pm. It's the only thing that works for me. Also look into why you're getting it. Pm is very hard to get rid of by sanitizing but you can lessen the likelihood of it forming by making sure your plants aren't too close, get lots of fan action going so the spores can't land. Stagnant leaves are a beacon for pm. As far as temperature I haven't found any difference in pm forming at 75 or 85. If your environment breeds pm you may want to leave your temp and humidity where it's best for plants and focus on pm prevention separately.

Yeah, agree with @cocojo3 your temps are fine and PM can start and even thrive anywhere from 75-85F. My area is bad for it outdoor so it's easy to track in. I have to deal with it constantly. The most efficient method to get rid of it in your room is sulfur burns, google that. It stinks for a couple of days but it's the most effective. I burn about every 4 weeks, take my plants out, burn for ~ 1 1/2 hrs. For flowering plants I try an avoid it first by spraying them in veg, but will spray them if I see it in flowering with 1 tspn baking Soda, a few drops of vegetable oil and a couple of drops of dish detergent. Spray with lights off, dry them well for a couple of hours, then turn lights back on, otherwise you can easily burn the hairs when they're flowering.

Strains and phenos within strains can be resistant or a magnet. My first cull is anything that shows signs of PM in veg, that's another way to manage it. There is no getting rid of it if it grows outdoor in your area, and short of stripping down every time you enter your grow rooms, you'll end up tracking it into your room. It's airborne so bringing in air from outside without a carbon filter will contaminate your room. That's how I initially found out that it was so bad in my area, certain plants/bushes in my area (outdoor) are covered with it by the end of the summer.

So far so good. I got a new stronger dehumidifier and keep my fan on medium. I also got 5 of those mini fans creating a little tornado in there. Thanks for the advice!
