Looking to make a recipe , a soft chew candy...
Max Temperature would be 260 F...
I was going to infuse the sugar and honey to make recipe.
I'm thinking it would work ... any candy infusers out there?

Yeah, not so much a gummy.
No gelatin to thicken. The temperature is the key. Not hard candy stage...
I'm going to have to play around and experiment.

Should be a few to choose from here.
Super cool site, thank you. Bookmarked!

I have a recipe in mind.... just wasn't sure about the temp, if you can make hard candy with Canna Oil, I can most likely make what I want to....
I will have to research more.
I won't cook alcohol, but, will let it evaporate, so my process at times will take longer.
I really can't wait to dig through that site.... thanks!

I've wondered about the heat myself...best I've been able to think up is make the candy then as its cooling then add the infused oil (or what ever is being used).
This might allow it to be decarb'd also and if candy cools fast enough it may not 'burn' it.
Just a though on it...wanting to make some candies too...dam lock downs make it hard to get supplies. :P

my goal is to make Ginger Chews..... infused. I have some friends going though Chemo now. I figured it would help them with the upset stomach. And other things......

I love the Hot Spicy Ginger Chews .... and that is my vision..... to make those infused.....

I would still decarb first.... and make a tincture, or something to make the candy. My recipe calls for just granulated sugar, and honey, I was going to infuse both of them, and use that in the recipe

I used to work at a gourmet bakery, so I want to play around a lot with the infusions .....
