Temperature wont go down! help please

I was planning on gettin an mh conversion bulb for my 400w hps, its just even when i have the grow tent (2x4x5) wide open, next to an open window with cold air blowing in (chicago and winters around the corner) for hours, a deskfan blowing air around the tent, another 6inch deskfan blowing air in, the temps aare sometimes still at 90, but usually drop during the coldest hours of the night to 75 average. I dont understand how, when i go over there its cold, but when I look at the thermometer (1 digital and 1 regular) its always very hot. Even with the 530 cfm inline im getin, will it be enough by itself without a cooltube or hood or anything, just for exhaust? I dont understand the temp thing tho really help me out am I supposed to be measuring in the shade, if so, its only a few degrees cooler. Please help me and my people are having to sleep with the window open just to keep these babies cool enuf, and its freezing in here!! Wish i could post pictures of exact setup, will soon, but the babies look just a little droopy, some of them, but that all, other than slow growth on others also.​

Just buy a cooltube, that much cold and hot air will cause a huge canopy temp/root temp differential which is stressfull for the plant and WILL stunt it's growth

you gotta get an air cooled hood.the inline fan will help alot,but you have to put it outside the tent and pull the hot air from the top inside of the tent to the outside..gl man!

You can put a squirrel cage fan on the outside of your grow room with a hose that leads to the inside of the room. and if you have central air and heat it should regulate just fine.

So the consensus is that without a cooltube, which I need at least one inline fan for anyway, the inline alone at 530 cfm wouldn't be enuf?? And i knew the cold was stunting them your right canibal im stressin the shit outa them, but its all i can do except let the temp get to the 90's, which will definitly kill them. Im gonna look up the food fan and squirrel cage and see what kind of power and price were talkin.. So, if the inline im getin isnt enuf by itself, wheres the cheapest place to get an aircooled hood or cooltube I could use with my cheap light? I wana upgrade to 1000w mh/hps when I upgrade the grow space. Thanks every1 tho reps up
