Temps too cold?

The intake ducting for my grow tent runs to a window which generally works pretty good in keeping my temps even, but tonight a cold front is moving through and my temps in the tent right now are 63 degrees with 60% humidity. I've got bagseed going right now all about a week old. For the first week I ran a 400W MH light on them 24 hrs a day and kept temps in the mid 70's. I turned the lights off for the first time about 4 hours ago as I am switching to an 18/6 light schedule here at the start of the 2nd week. So is 63 too cold at night? Currently I am running my intake and exhaust fans even with the light off...should I turn off my intake fan at night to keep it a little warmer in the tent?

Sorry if that sounds a bit rambly...I've alread been bongsmilie:eyesmoke: tonight

Well the lights kicked on at 6:05 and everything looks good. Temp was 61 and humidity was 65% when the lights kicked on. Today is the start of the 2nd week since I put the seeds in rapid rooters. I haven't really paid much attention to this grow but a few days ago the taproots came out of the rapid rooters so they were transplanted into 8" round pots from Lowe's with Miracle Grow Moisture Control soil. The soil was pretty much completely dried out this morning so I gave them a drink of plain distilled water. This is a bagseed grow that I'm doing to kill time because I've been waiting on my Attitude order for almost a month now.

Just so you know, it's best to leave seedlings in rapid rooters for 2 weeks. Gives them plenty of time to develop a root system and become tough little plants that will have little difficulty transitioning after the transplant.

The roots were already growing out of the rapid rooter...I figured at that point in time it was time for a bigger pot. I usually put my germed seeds in red plastic cups which are bigger than the rapid rooters and usually only leave them in the cups for 2 weeks.

Well I guess everything wasn't so smooth...apparently the MH bulb didn't like the cold temps. It kicked on for a few minutes, but when I went back to check on them after posting on here the light was off. I unplugged the ballast from the timer and put it into a different outlet but I guess the bulb is just blown (doesn't look any different to me) because when I put my HPS bulb in I had light again.

Sounds like you're not using a propagation tray, which the rapid rooters fit into perfectly. The elongated roots just wrap around/up the RR plug.
I had a Plant Freeze solid and I brought it inside and it finished up fine ,, I lost a few leaves that was all.
What was the temp outside? It sure wasn't 61 degrees.
