Hi everyone I'm new to Rollitup but an old timer to cannabis. I love tents, I've been building and tuning my system for 15+ years now. I'm hoping to share my thoughts with the next generation of top shelf growers. You can also check out my blog at 420 Institute http://420institute.blogspot.com/

Thanks. It's a simple set up, framed out of 1x2 cedar. Outside is covered with two layers of 4 mil plastic, both layers are individually stapled and taped. The inside has one layer of 4 mil (again sealed) and the a layer of mylar. I'm running a 600w hps 12/12, air cooled with a 190 cfm inline fan. For ventilation I'm running a 440 cfm which pulls from the top. Air intake is passive with a 1800 hepa micron furnace and a carbon sheet filter. Intake is below pots to lift co2 to the buds. It stays at a constant 77° air temp (lights on) and I can run about 7" from canopy with a 81° canopy surface temp. The temp drops to 70° during lights out. I run a dehumidifier in the outer room to keep humidity to 45 to 50%. I've built many tents over the years and it takes a lot of dedicated and tuning but I wouldn't grow any other way, I can control everything in this environment and it's clean. Below are a few inside photos. Any questions let me know.

And as far as noise, it's not bad. It's quieter than the dehumidifier in the basement.

Pffft. I can buy the same setup on Ebay for about $90. :)
I'm sure you can. Was your post directed at pointing out there are premaufactued tents available or is it your intention to the assume that my final product is the claim of invention of the indoor grow tent?

I'm sorry if your unhappy with life but is it really necessary to reply to a post being a dick, to someone you don't even know so that deep down the insecurity you feel towards your small penis don't feel so bad???

Now that you've read that and are about to stand up to your "on tippy toes" 5'2" and pull up your little man pants. Don't forget to put your dirty clothes in the hall for mommy to wash today and hurry up because Taco Bell ain't going to keep putting up with you being late all the time.

Grow up and have a great weekend :-)

These babies were placed in the new tent 11 days ago to flower. So far so good, still dialing a few things in. It's Bubblicious, I've grown it many times just not in this new setup.

Aren't you suppose to suck air through your carbon filter and not blow it out through the filer the way you have it set up? I'm just curious what your take on it is because I was originally going to set my filter up outside my tent and do it like you are but after a lot of research I learned two things: You should pull your air through your carbon filter and out of your tent, and also you should never suck air through your hoods, the air should be blown through them as to not create a vaccum around your light.

I'm assuming odor isn't an issue doing it this way but it wil shorten the life of your fans, same if your sucking hot air from your lights through them.

My temps never get above 82 so that's not an issue. The fan and filter are made to pull. My intake is from the bottom so it lifts the co2 to the canopy and the light is vented separately. Light is not effected by vacuum.

Good to know. I know alot of people that set it up the same way and don't seam to have any issues. If it works it works. Awesome set up man, props. I'm new to the site, not really new to growing. I will be watching this : )
