Tent looks like its going to implode!!!!

my secret jardin dr150 tent looks like its going to implode. the walls are sucked in alot!!. for my exhaust i have an air cooled hood ,400 cfm fan, no carbon filter. The tents passive intake flaps on the bottom seem to not work very wells. any suggestions!!!!! Whould getting a fan speed controller fix this problem?

Add an in-line fan to push fresh air inside, get one that's a little more powerful than the exhaust & add a speed control box to it. Your plant will get fresher air + more co2 as a bonus

Negative pressure is good, means you have a nice airflow inside the tent. You might want to make the intake hole a bit bigger if you can, but adding an intake fan will ruin the negative pressure.

the floor of the tent gets sucked up lol there must be too much neg pressure.. i have no intake hole. just the two vent flaps. should i add a 6 inch duct at the bottom

A speed controler will fix your problem and allow you to keep the neg pressure. Just run it at like 50-75%.

I remember when I first saw my 3x3 tent all sucked in. I ended up just leaving it. Fan speed controllers are super cheap. Just get one. If you just let it be, the walls end up touching the sides of the plants and that side usually doesn't have the best growth.

lol your plants should be holing the floor down but the walls well not too much you can do, its nothing to worry about a far as the tent goes but i mean if you dont like your walls curved in so much your gonna have to get a speed controller or a intake fan.

A good rule of thumb is to have 3x the size intake as you exhaust threw. So if you have a 6 inch fan blowing out you need 3 6 inch holes to let air in! Negative pressure is good to have. A fan regulator will cure this issue!

I had the exact same problem with mine. Too much negative pressure. Running the speed controller at 50% and everything looks great now.

thanks for the help!. im going to buy a fan speed controller. If anyone thinks i should do something different let me know
