Tent Setup With Hood Or CoolTube?

Hey Riu, Hows it growing?

i have a 4x4 Tent 600W, Looking to get somehting air cooled, Would u Suggest a Hood Or Cool Tube.
Cooltube i'am wondering if it would light end to end enough for 4x4..
Hood I can be assured that it will, if i can afford one with slanted ends?

Will cool tube work? should i get a hood i have been looking at the northstar xxl hoods but they are 200$

in a 4x4 I would go with an air cooled hood. I think cooltubes should be for small tents like mine. 36"x20"x60"

I would go with either one of these. The second one is a cool tube hood. Something I'd like to eventually try. Seems like best of both worlds.

Those xxl hoods are a little over kill for a 600w in my opinion. There more for a 1k. A cool tube would work my first hood was a cooltube from virtual sun but it had a hood over it too. Worked good in my 4x4 with 600w. I think they run $80 free shipping.

Id recomend a 6" blockbuster hood if a $150 hood is a option. Its a square and is made for a 4x4 foot print. But either hood you linked will get the job done. My vs hoods kinda like the cooltube there but the hood portion on mine looks a little better.

Edit: my bad I thought the op posted the links lol. Mr2shim I have .5gpw harvests and all around good results with my hood thats very similar to that cooltube. 4x4 tent, 600w, and usually 5 plant runs vegged to 24" indica dom strain.

A hood will out perform a tube any day. Flat glass causes less refraction of light compare to curved glass. Plus the reflector is generally better in a hood.

Large hoods work great and have a better footprint. I run a 4x4 with a 2x2 hood with dual 400w CMH, and it covers the whole area really well.

Anyway i have seen the blockbuster, and i'am leaning towards it. I want some quality with the Cheap price..
i think it would give best light, and to control canopy in my area.

i was able to find the same hood but that was it, i tried to order nutrients over amazon before would not let me ship it after i filled it all out lol. i'm gonna research a little bit on stores and shipping sense hoods cost so much to ship then see what those places can get me Thanx Again peeps
