Termite question ?

So what is the best way to deal with them ?

i got a spot that iv been working on since september and now every things ready to go .

i just germed my n.l and blue mystic and now their under my hps until their ready to be put outside in the new area .

BUT my problem is termites ,

i noticed them around the first of sept when i was ( landscaping )

iv never dealt with termites before and i heard that they will kill my plants by eating my plants by going straight up the stem or something ( hell idk )

so can any of you tell me a good remedy to kill them or at least keep them away from my plants .

( a cheap way if possible lol )

They chew at the stems breaking them and killing your plant. Look for those termite spikes at home depot or lowes.

Get some toxic termite chemicals for plants, otherwise u wont get rid of them and they will prob wipe out your nice patch.Use pump spray bottle to apply to lower stem and the soil in the hole. NOt sure about US but in Australia its 'pidgeons pest controller' or 'fortune 500'. Carefull mixing it around the house .etc

so i can put that stuff right on my topsoil and it wont get adsorbed through the roots and hurt my plants ?

Yeah. The product MSDS seems safe to me. Its very cocentrated so mix it properly as the instructions state. Would work best in a sprayer. Spray the soil generously a few weeks before your plants are being transplanted into the holes to deter the termites that may already exist there. Then, spray the area around the plant about every month or so being sure to wet the bottom of the stalk thoroughly. Just stop applying about a month or 2 before approximate harvest time to be sure none of the termiticide can possibly linger in the buds.

no problems with the termicide it is meant for plants, actually when ive used it my plants are pumping next visit. Stop using it 3 weeks before harvest,usually only need one hit. put it on the lower main stem.

just what ever you pick, make damn sure it's not a repellent too.
...the last thing you need is for them to get the idea to fold up the tents and move a bit to the left before the poison grabs hold

i recommend using a two fold approach, first a liquid foaming termiticide, then bait stations...just to cover your ass.
