Hey Everyone,
I'm a first time grower with 3 sick plants. One is a little younger than the other, probably week 5 of flower, the other two are about week 6-7 right now.
Here is the grow info:
Strain: White Widow - Feminized, from seed
Light: HPS 600W
Medium: Organic Soil-less Mix in 4 gal Pots with pebbles on bottom for drainage
Water: Reverse Osmosis + Mineral Water (1 L/Gal)
Water pH: 5.5-6.5
PPM: 900-1,200 ppm
Runoff pH is around 5.5 - 6.5 and ppm's are around 400 - 900 ppm
Nutes: Fox Farms - Big Bloom, Tiger Bloom, Grow Big, General Hydroponics Floralicious (on occasion), Black Strap Molasses only fed 2X (1 TBSP/GAL) during flower only
They have their own reflective white room, plenty of space, humidity around 40 - 55 usually. temps from 79 F - 84 F during the day, a little lower at night. Constant air flow. I alternate food and water every other feeding. They're about 2-3 ft tall.
At the very beginning of flower my ppm's came out in the runoff way too high (2,000+) and I had to flush. After that everything has been perfect (numbers wise), but all of a sudden about 2 weeks ago I started seeing my best and strongest plant get some necrotic spots showing up, it spread really fast and then hit my next strongest and biggest plant. Just this week I saw the same signs show up in my younger plant and I am officially worried. As you can see in the pics they look terrible.
At first I did research and thought I had a cal or mag issue from the signs. I always give Mg+ mineral water along with the R.O. water in order to replace lost minerals, but I assumed this was not enough. I got some cal/mag right away (about 2 weeks, now) and fed it to them that day. The next thing I knew, the problem was worse. It went from being on maybe 10 leaves to taking over my biggest plant so now it is on ALL her leaves. She looks awful.
So I did more research and discovered that manganese can be locked out if the plant has too much mag. When I looked at the manganese deficiency photos this appeared to be exactly what was going wrong with my plants, so I got manganese and fed them that in the last watering last week. I also foliar fed it VERY carefully with a sponge so as not to get any liquid on the flowers. However so far this hasn't seemed to help either.
As you can see in the pics the flowers are still pretty beautiful, but I bet they would be better if this wasn't going on. I honestly don't know what to do at this point, I've tried everything, and I just want to save these plants so they get to week 9. Any advice or insight is appreciated!
